On 21st May 2019, Mr. Suwit Ratanachinda, Managing Director of Sky Pacific and Mr. Kyaw Han, Chief Operating Officer of Myanmar Airways International (8M) have officially announced Sky Pacific Thailand as Passenger General Sales Agent and Cargo Sales Agent for Myanmar Airways International (MAI) for the Thai market.

The appointment sees Sky Pacific handle the airline’s marketing activities, sales development, bookings and ticketing services within Thailand as well as conduct direct support services to the Thai travel trade. This strategic decision makes an historical mile-stone in the expiation of MAI.

MAI operates twice-daily flights (Monday to Sunday) from Yangon to Bangkok, and provides flights to many destinations in Asia such as India, China, Singapore and many more.

MAI together with Air KBZ (K7) has signed code share agreements with many airlines including Malaysia Airlines (MH), Korean Air (KE), Asiana Airlines (OZ), Garuda Indonesia (GA), SriLankan Airlines (UL) and Royal Brunei Airlines (BI).
